The international conference organized by the Baku Initiative Group with the participation of French and Dutch colonies, entitled "Colonialism: The Eradication of National and Religious Identities,"

Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, Abbas Abbasov, delivered a comprehensive presentation, offering a detailed reflection on the organization's activities over the past two years. In his address, he provided notable achievements of the BIG to advancing its mission and objectives. Abbasov emphasized the group's strategic direction and its ongoing efforts to address critical global issues, including colonialism, human rights, and the protection of national and religious identities in colonies.

Exhibition highlighting the lasting impacts and history of French colonialism and neocolonialism, including human rights violations and crimes perpetrated by french authorities in colonies. Featuring historical photos, documents, and archival materials, as well as consequences of nuclear tests and colonial policies of France. The exhibition honored the courageous leaders of liberation movements who fought against French colonial rule, showcasing their struggles and ideals and unjust imprisonment of political prisoners by the French government.

Baku Initiative Group and UPLG (pro-independence movement of Guadeloupe) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation in various fields.

The agreement aims to foster collaboration through joint activities, including strengthen engagement in international arena, coordinate positions within international organizations, and expand partnerships with NGOs on decolonization and human rights.
