The right of Azerbaijanis to return their ancestral lands
In accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) – Article 13(2), International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (1966) – Article 12(4); International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (1965, especially where forcibly displacement is alleged to have occurred on ethnic grounds) and relevant United Nations principles concerning ethnic cleansing, we urge for the right of Western Azerbaijanis to return safely, peacefully, and with dignity to their ancestral lands.
